Freeze Dried Sourdough Starter

Freeze dried sourdough starter. What was an oops in my world became an opportunity to share with others. Freeze dried sourdough starter is good for 2-5 years with proper storage. If you've been wanting to try your hand at sourdough but don't want to spend a week or more getting it started and fed, then here you go. 

Rehydrating:
Day 1:
- 10g dried starter
- 10g warm water (let sit 20-30 minutes)
- Add 10g flour

Day 2:
- Feed 1 part starter to 1 part water and 1 part flour.

Day 3-4:
- Should start bubbling and rising
- Switch to normal feeding schedule

As you grow your starter please look in to all the things you can also do with sourdough discard. (LOTS)
